A new study found that when you sleep, if the body is in a swing state, then this condition will affect your brain waves, you can accelerate into deep sleep. The results can explain why a slight swing in the case will be very soothing relaxation. Nap has been shown to update the brain, when people want to seize the time to sleep a quick nap, the shaking can accelerate sleep.
In order to understand whether it can really swing to improve sleep, and it may be how to do this, the University of Geneva researchers recruited 12 male volunteers (women were excluded because of hormonal changes in the menstrual cycle affect sleep). Each volunteer in the afternoon to two different university sleep laboratory, in a column with the connection between the ceiling mount bed to sleep 45 minutes.
The first test-bed is fixed, the second shift the bed and gently shake when they sleep, the use of electrodes on the skin to detect electrical activity in the brain, the brain activity of these volunteers were monitored and electroencephalogram (EEG) examination.
The researchers found that gently shake the bed (hammock), all of them faster and deeper sleep. When bed rest, when being tested by about half the time in the initial stage of light sleep; when the bed shake up, light sleep stage only about 30% of sleep time. The time when the bed swaying, slightly deep sleep increased by about 10%, from about 50% of sleep time increased to 60%.
So, you want to go to sleep as soon as possible, if conditions allow, try to rest in a hammock. Moreover, people with sleep disorders may choose to rest in a hammock, to improve the look of sleep conditions, may also play a certain effect.
